Laboratories:
Anatomy and Physiology Lab
The lab is provided with 1581 sq. feet area. The lab is prepared to reinforce the theory knowledge about human anatomy & Physiology with the help of articulated skeletal, various bones, models & charts.
Community Health Nursing Lab
The lab is provided with 900 sq. feet area. This lab ensures the students to learn home visiting bag technique & practice the community health nursing while providing family health care at the door step of the client using modified home visiting kits. The lab is equipped with variety of audio visual material to practice health teaching in community.
Maternal and Child Health Nursing Lab:
This lab is provided with 1050 sq. feet area. This lab is designed to help the learner to reinforce the learning about normal physiology, midwifery, obstetrics & child health nursing. The lab is equipped with various manikins, models, palpation modules, birthing simulators & charts to develop hands on skills under the continues guidance & supervision.
Nutrition Lab:
This lab is provided with 1029 sq. feet area. This lab is designed to assist the learner to acquire wide range of knowledge of dietetics in Indian setting & understand the concept of “Nutrition, Health & Disease” while planning the diet for individuals and group in the hospital and in the community.
Demonstration Lab:
Fundamental Nursing Lab
This lab is provided with 1309 sq. feet area. This lab is organized to learn basic and critical nursing care with the help of manikins and simulator, models of modules (variety of adult & pediatric). The lab help to develop the life from absolutely realistic revolutionary nursing skills through “hands on training” under continuous supervision & guidance by expert teaching facility.
Computer Lab:
SIS College of Nursing’s computer lab is set in 1540 sq. feet. It is spacious and well ventilated with 10 computers available for training and practice purpose. This lab will be used by the students to practice the application of computer in field of nursing.
AV Aid Lab:
The lab is equipped with various electron devices for the effective teaching & learning such as LCD projectors, Over Head projector, CD Player, Tape Recorder etc.
Library:
SIS college of Nursing’s Library and Learning resource centre is an invaluable resource for students, researches and faculties of nursing education. It has the most complete action collection of text and reference books, audio-video material, films, charts, professional journal and Magazines. It is a most lively place in the institute providing & comfortable and reader friendly environment that enables learning and advancement of knowledge and promotes scholarship.
Extracurricular Activities:
The college is on the progress in the field of social service also. Students making regular presence in all national program, rehabilitation centers, Old age Homes under the supervision of experienced personnel. Educational tour & trips organized regularly to awake the talent & energy of the students.
